Dr. Che was born and raised in China. After medical school, she earned her Ph.D. in Physiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where she published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and received several awards for excellent research. Her research background allows her to see patients in a unique way and gives her the skill to keep updated with current medicine. However, her passion for patients made her come back to clinical medicine. After finishing an internal medicine residency at Yale-Bridgeport Hospital, she completed her nephrology fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation. In her practice, she emphasizes preventive measures for all kinds of kidney diseases. She strongly believes that patient education, patient awareness, and teamwork are the key to good medical care. Although comfortable with all aspects of nephrology, she has a special interest in glomerulonephritis, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease.

She is married and enjoys spending her free time with her family.
